L'inverno è arrivato in Cina e ha portato con sé tantissimi disagi, basti pensare che a Pechino i trasporti pubblici sono fortemente rallentati e tantissimi voli sono stati cancellati. A causa dei binari ghiacciati si è anche verificato uno scontro tra treni che ha ferito almeno un centinaio di persone. Xi Jinpin ha chiesto sforzi per poter affrontare questa emergenza, un impegno che si tradurrebbe nel rafforzare l'approvvigionamento di carbone, elettricità petrolio e gas in vista di un inverno con temperature record.
La prima ondata di freddo su gran parte del Paese durerà fino a martedì secondo i meteorologi. Si stima che alcune regioni della Cina settentrionale e le regioni del fiume Giallo e del Huaihe potrebbero assistere a crolli della temperatura anche di 12 gradi.
Se il nord e il centro della Cina devono affrontare il grande freddo, il discorso è totalmente diverso per il sud del Paese. Nel Lingshui, nella provincia meridionale dell’Hainan, si sono registrati 33 gradi nella giornata di ieri. Un inverno con temperature anomale, in entrambi i sensi, attende il Paese dopo un'estate dove si sono registrati fenomeni climatici estremi.
